  HISTORY
The Veritas Press History curriculum covers 32 events per year over five school years, starting with Creation and ending in the present day. Students will memorize the sequence of events and dates each year. Worksheets, projects, and tests will make their learning memorable. The purpose of the curriculum is to teach the students a timeline of history with knowledge of many facts along the way. This knowledge will prove to be of great benefit when students begin studying history, literature and theology (and anything else with roots in the past) in a deeper way as they get older and move into the dialectic and rhetoric stages. Another great benefit of the curriculum is its integration with the Bible in the first two series. Students will learn that the Bible is a not an isolated set of events, but that all of history is under the control of a sovereign God.
