TEACHER TRAINING :: SPEAKERS | SCHEDULE | REGISTRATION

We will use Wimba Classroom technology for our online teacher training conference. All that is needed is a computer with high-speed internet connection and speakers. All talks will be live, real-time with audio.

Most of the screen is a whiteboard on which the speaker can display notes, art, maps, Power Point, websites and other applications. On the bottom of the screen both the participant list and chat box are visible. Participants can communicate by written chat. During any question and answer time attendees will be able to type a question to which the speaker can read and respond.

We use this technology extensively for our online courses. It works reliably and is quite easy to use with a wide range of browsers and computer systems. Prior to the conference registered attendees will receive an email with simple instructions for how to log in and attend.
